Massic went in first and was caught without scoring. Murdoch scored 33, and Banuemian 23, both not out. The Australians thus won the match by nine wickets. The attendance yesterday numbered fully 20,000 ; to-day it was enormous, and great interest was taken in the contest. Intense excitement prevailed towards the close of the game. The Australian's bowling was extremely good, and dead on the wicket. The ground was in much better order than yesterday.
