PAKI PAKI RACES.

These races took place yesterday at Paki Paki. The attendance was not large, but the sport was very fair. Messrs Cohen and Stock had a tofalisator on the ground, which was satisfactorily worked, although there was very little speculation. Mr Young's Waipatu (Atkins) ... 1 Mr Douglas' Mahaoga (Jones) ... 0 Mr Rogers' Fcrnglen... 0 Mr Pohuku's Pobuitakara 0 Mabanga passed the post first, but Jones, bis rider, to avoid a collision, ran inside a post, and on a protest being lodged the stakes were given to Waipatu.
