Decembpr 16. The statement that the proposed expedition to Tonquin had been abandoned by the Cabinet is not correct. It is known that the cons deration of the project has only been postponed, and will be brought up again, Admiral Jaurcquiberry, the Minister of Marine s has withdrawn his resignation.
