SENTENCE PASSED ON ARABI.

Tbe trial of Arabi commenced to-day. The business done was of a purely formal character, and the whole proceedings are not expected to occupy more than twentyfour hours.
The trial of Arabi was concluded today. He was found guilty of the charges laid against him, and was condemned to death. The Khedive has, however, since commuted the sentence to exile.
