The Union Company's s.s. Omapere, Captain Mcintosh, arrived in. the bay at 3.30 p.m. yesterday afternoon from Wellington and Southern ports, and was berthed at the breastwork at 5 o'clock. She brought 130 tons of cargo for this port, which she is discharging to-day, and at _ o'clock this afternoon she was to have left for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland. The steamer Oreti, Captain Campbell, took in a small quantity of cargo yesterday afternoon, and left for Gisborne and Auckland at 4 o'clock.
The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, returned from Wairoa at 10.30 o'clock last night, having left the Wairoa at 4 p.m. She brought some cargo and a number of passengers. She has been placed on the bard to-day to have her bottom cleaned and painted. The steamer! Go-Ahead, Captain Doile, anchored in the roadstead from Wellington and the coast at 9 o'clock last night. She was brought inside this morning at 5 o'clock, and v?as moored at the cattle wharf, where she discharged her cargo, some 150 tons, during the day, a considei-able part of which consisted of transhipments out of the ship Wanganui. She was to leave again for Wellington at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The steamer Kiwi is telegraphed aB having left Wellington at 6 o'clock last night for Napier and the coast, and may be expected to arrive here on Friday morning, sailing again at 5 o'clock the same day. The Union Company's steamer Manapouri, Captain Logan, for Melbourne and Southern ports, will be a day late on her way up the coast, not arriving here until Sunday morning. The three-masted schooner Carl Graf Attems, Captain Bruel, was sighted by the Go-Ahead last night off the Kidnappers en route from Newcastle, N. S. W., to Napier via Poverty Bay, at which place she is to land a part of ber cargo of coal before coming on here. The p.B. Manaia, Captain Baxter, is to leave for Wairoa at 12 o'clock to-night, taking cargo and passengers. (By Cable.) London, November 27. The Merchant Shipping and Underwriter's Association report the arrival of the ship Eavenscrag from Lyttelton (sailed August 5). Melbourne, November 29. Arrived, this morning, P. and O. steamship Roaetta, with the inward Suez mail which left London on the 20th October.
