AUCKLAND.
November 21. The Rotorua, with the carbine champion and the Thames and Auckland representatives, arrived at midnight. A dinner was held immediately afterwards. There is great dissatisfaction amongst the men at the treatment received at Dunedir. A beautiful Aurora Australis was visible yesternight. The body of tbe missing man George Savage has been found by a Maori a mile from where he was believed to have attempted to cross the Puoui river.
A party of American evangelists, who arrived by the last mail steamer, comprising Mr and Mrs Phelps, and Mr and Mrs Donnan, have commenced an evangelistic mission in Auckland. Judge Macdonald has refused to grant an injunction applied for by tbe Corporation against the Manure and Tallow Manufacturing Company for placing their factory in the vicinity of the city water supply springs. The refusal was on the ground that a nuisance must be first created and proved to exist before an injunction can be granted.
