Railway Department, Wellington, Oct. 2., 18S2. riIENDERS will be received until NOON ol MONJL DAY. 20th November, ISB2, for the supply and delivery of Coal and Coke for the New Zealand Railways. They must be addressed to the General Manager of New Zealand Railways, Wellington, and marked outside " Tender for Coal." Specifications can be seen, and forma of tender obtained, at the offices of the Railway Manager at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Wanganul, New Plymouth, Nelson, Picton, Greymouth, Westport, Christchurch, Dunedin, and the Station Masters' offices at Wbangarei and Invercargill. Telegraphic Tenders will be received if presented at any Telegiaph Office by Noon of the same date, provided that written Tenders in due form are lodged at a Railway Manager's office by the same hour. TO CIVIL ENGINEERS and OTHERS. rpHE HARBOH BOARD op NAPIER, HAWKE'S JL BAY, hereby call for Designs for a Harbor to be Constructed at the Port of Napier. Such Deeigns to be in accordance with conditions which will be supplied on application. A premium of five hundred pounds will be given for the Design which Is selected and approved by the Judges, who will be Engineers of good standing. Plans of the present Harbor, the Roadstead, and Bay, which have been prepared for the purpose, and which will be accompanied with all necessary data, will be supplied on application to the Engineer to the Board at Napier.
