CORRESPONDENCE.
THE EXHIBITION
[To the Editor of the Dailt? Telegraph.] Sir, —If I had the honor to be acquainted with your correspondent " Pro Bono Publico " I would give him many cogent reasons why it is more advisable to hold the art industrial exhibition in the Athenseuni rather than in the Theatre, but I will not trespass upon your space further than to state that the exhibition will not interfere with the regular operations of tbe Institute. Tbe library will be open at the usual hours, and the conversation room will be temporarily used as a reading room, and there will remain three large rooms to fit up as an art mueeum. Wishing your correspondent will act in the spirit of his assumed name, and help the committee of the Athenseam in their efforts " for the good of the public,"—l am, etc., Percival Bear, Hon. Sec. Napier Athenseum. Napier, November 1, 1882.
