Mr Long, Miss Long, Mr and Mrs Taitnnd 2 children, Mrs Cooper, Mrs Williams and family (3) and servant, Mrs Fitzroy and 2*children and servant, Mr and Miss Chamberlain, Mrs Britten and 3 children, Messrs J, Ross, G. Crossman, J. T. Wise, Bear, J. Parker, W. B. Blythe, H. Williams, J. Laurenson, V\ . Garci, Farmer, Colledge, and Rolls.

The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, arrived here from Wellington via coastal stations at about 10 o'clock last night. She was brought inside this morning, and moored at the breastwork, where she discharged her cargo during the forenoon, consisting of about 60 tons. fche is announced to leave again for the same places at 6 o'clock tonight. The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, left for Wairoa via Mohaka at 12 o'clock last night, taking a good cargo and several passengers. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata arrived in the roadstead at an early hour this morning. The inward mails and passengers were landed shortly before 8 o'clock, and the outward ones were taken off at 11.30 a.m. The following is a report of her passage, kindly furnished by Mr Dalgleish, her purser :—Left Auckland on the 2fith at 1 p.m., and arrived at Gisborne on the 27th at 2 p.m. ; left again at 6 p.m., and arrived here at 3 a.m. Experienced fine weather throughout. She brought no cargo for this port, all the Auckland goods being shipped by the s.s. Southern Cross. She resumeci her voyage for Melbourne and Southern ports at 1 o'clock. ■jL'ho Union Steamship Company's s.s. Ringarooma left Wellington at 6 o'clock last night, witli 84 tons of cargo for this port, but was not signalled up to the time our report left the Spit. She will be tendered on arrival by the launch for mails and passengers, and by the ketch Admiral fou cargo. Her time of departure for Northern ports and Sydney is fixed at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The p.s. Manaia did not get away for Wairoa last night, but will leave at the earliest opportunity. The s.s. Southern Cross is duo here on Monday morning from Southern_ ports, and is announced to steam for Gisborne and Auckland at 4 o'clock the same afternoon.
