The Fancy Fair at the Theatre Royal will be opened for the last time to-nighfc. The new Davis vertical feed sewing machine will be shown in full operation at Messrs Large and Townley's new premises after 6 o'clock this evening. The first meeting of the creditors of Angus McKay, contractor, a benkrupfc, will be held at the Court House, Napier, on Monday at 2 p.m. The last call of 5s per share by shareholders of the Napier Kecreation Ground Company is due and payable at the office of the secretary, Mr H. Monteith on Monday. Tenders for the cartage of water pipes must be delivered at the Town Clerk's office by noon on Monday. Mr C. G. Smyth, accountant and commission agent, Browning-street, publishes his card. A fine art and industrial exhibition will be held in the Napier Athenceurn on Monday, Novemher 6, and following days, and the secretary, Mr P. Bear, invites the loan of pictures, curios, &c, for exhibition. Messrs Banner and Liddle hold a sale of furniture, effects, &c, at their rooms on Thursday next. A white and black setter pup strayed or was stolen on Wednesday night. Mr J . James, Hastings-street, will reward any one who will restore same to him. Mr R. H. Robinson, of the Cheap Drapery Shop, has just received new goods in dress materials and clothing, and has now landing his third shipment for the season. The well-known thoroughbred stallion Jav'lin will run with mares this season at Te Mahanga. Messrs Illingworth and Weaver, the West Clive fellmongery, publish the prices at which they are prepared to scour locks and pieces and fleece wools, and buy or fellmonger skins at current rates. lodized sarsaparilla, prepared only by W. E. Woods, chemist, Napier and Hastings, is a'eomoound for cleansing and purifying the blood. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column.
