BLENHEIM.

October 27. Mr Dodson, M.H,R., addressed a crowded meeting of his constituents last evening. His speech lasted nearly two hours, and, besides reviewing the work of the session, he dealt at some length with the question of the extension of the main trunk line via the East Coast, and in justification of his vote on the no-confi-dence motion. A vote of confidence was carried unanimously. At the inquest held on the body of Dr. Riley, of Havelock, the medical evidence showed that death resulted from an apoplectic fit, and a verdict was returned accordingly.
