SHIPPING.
PORT AHURIBI. ARRIVALS. October. 19—Go-Abead, s.s., from Wellington via Castle Point. 19 —Fairy, s.s. from Pourerere. 20 —Kiwi, s.s., from Wellington -via coastal stations. Passengers —Mrs Jackson and Mr Hart. The steamer Go-Ahead, Capt, Doile, arrived here from Wellington via Castle Point at about 10 o'clock laet night, and was berthed inside this morning. She brought the inward newspaper portion of the San Francisco mail, and some 140 tons of cargo, principally transhipped goods, •which latter she discharged at the breastwork this morning. She is to leave again for Wellington at about 6 o'clock to-night. The s.s. Fairy, Capt. Campbell, returned from Pourerere yesterday afternoon, and at once went alongside the Norman McLcod and discharged her cargo, some 96 bales of ■wool. The steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, arrived here at 2 a.m. this day from Wellington, and took up her position at the cattle wharf about 7.30 a.m. She left Wellington at 4 a.m. on Wednesday ; arrived at Flat Point at 1 p.m., but had to leave again after disharging a few boat-loads of cargo, for Castle Point, which place she lef at 1.80 p.m. yesterday, arriving here as shown above. She brought over 100 tone of cargo, and will take away a considerable quantity of tallow and maize, sailing at about 7 o'clock to-night. The Union Company's steamers Rotorua and Arivwata are both due here on Satnrday, the former from Auckland and Sydney, arriving about daylight, and sailing southwards at 10 a.m., and the later from Melbourne and Southern ports about noon, sailing for Northern ports at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The ketch Admiral is discharing cargo out of the barque Langstone at the breastwork to-day. The schooners Frank Guy and Edith Eeid are taking in ballast at the breastwork to-day, preparatory to sailing. The probable time of the departure of the Wairoa fleet is still uncertain, owing to the unfavorable state of the bar at that place. The s.s. Oreti was to have left Auckland for this port to-day, and will probably not arrive here until the beginning of next ■week.
