At the City Court to-day Inspector Weldon intimated that he would not proceed with the charge of attempted suicide preferred against Jane Gray. On account of her low nervous state she had been permitted to go to her home. The Sorrento arrived "at Adelaide on Thursday. She calls at Melbourne and Sydney, and then loads 250 tons of frozen meat here. She leaves here for London direct.
Captain Sinclair, formerly of the Arawata, has gone Home to bring out the Union Company's Tarawera.
