Three horses to start for each race or no public money will be given. All protests must be accompanied by a deposit of £2, which will be forfeited to the fund if the protest be considered frivolous 5 per cent, will be deducted from the gros3 amount of all stakes. No person allowed to enter a horse unless ho is a subscriber of at least one guinea to the Club. All disputes, claims, or objections to be decided by a majority of the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, whose decision shall be final. All protests to be accompanied with a deposit of two guineas, to be forfeited if the protest is considered frivolous. Three horses to start for each race or only half the money will b3 given, " Hack ' sball mean a horse that has never started in a weight for age or handicap race. Nominations for the Maiden Plate (with ages of horses) Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied with the necessary amount in cash, must bo left with th_ Secretary at Kaikora not later than 8 p. m. on the ,9th December.
