R.M. COURT, WAIPAWA.
This Day. (Before Captain Preece, R.M.) CIVIL CAFES. Peters v. Wroath, claim £2 17s 6d for rent. Plaintiff admitted receiving £2 from defendant before the service of the summons, but after instructing his solicitor to summons. Judgment for plaintiff for 2s with 7s costs. Peters v.* Hannan, claim £2 8s sd. No appearance of defendant. Verdict for plaintiff. Taylor v. Martin, claim £2 10a 6(3, balance of money lent. This case was adjourned from last Court day. Judgment for plaintiff for £2 6s, with costs £4 6s, and witnesses expenses £5 18s. ALLEGED PERJURY. Mr Guy made an application for the Bench to direct a charge of perjury to be laid against one Sorensen and two witnesses in the case at Ormondville, Sorensen v. Wagner. Mr Guy said he had evidence to prove that gross perjury had been committed. His Worship declined to grant the request, as there was no evidence before bim. At the same time, His Worship added that he always received evidence at Ormondville with great caution.
