At the adjourned inquest on the child Bowie, who was killed by the train at Gore last week, the driver and shunter were examined. Both were of opinion tbat the child was under the van taking shelter from tbe rain. Tbe train bad been standing 45 minutes. A verdict of accidental death was returned, no blame being attached to anybody.
