(By Cable.) London, October 13. Consols hare advanced to 101$. New Zealand securities are unchanged at last quotations, namely, five por cent 1889 loan, 107 ; four and a half per cent 1879----1904 loan 101-1. The market rate of discount has been reduced by three-eighths to 3|- ; the bank rate remains at 5 per cent. Adelaide wheat, ex-warehouse, has advanced to 48s 6A ; New Zealand wheat, ex-warehouse, remains At 42s to 443 6d ; Adelaide flour is unchanged at 335. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 1,880,000 quarters, or 70,000 less than last week. Australian tallow continues firm at 44a 6d for best beef, and 47s for best mutton.
