This match was played at Hastings on Saturday, and resulted in an easy victory for the Rovers by 127 runs, the scores being:—Scinde Rovers, 172; Hawke's Bay County, 45. For the Rovers G. Newton, A. Newton, J. Liddle, C. Cotterill, White, and Buchanan, all succeeded in reaching double figures, and G. Newton performed great execution with the leather. The batting and fielding of the County team was inferior.
