As a fouryear-o'd won the Midlothian Agricultural Association's premium of LSO, and the Highland Society's g"ld medal at Perth. His tire Bergamic won the Highland Society's first prize at Kolso in 1863 and numerous other first prizes. Bergamie's dam Maggie won three first prizes at Campbelltown, and her sire Farmer's Fancy won the Highland Society 8 first prize at Glasgow in 1815. Hit dam Peggy won many prizes, and was got by Cljde Boy, first prize Stallion at Haddington Show, 1858, also second priz* at Highland Society 8 Show, 1858. Clyde Boy was the sire of the Champion horse Sir Walter Scott, who gained the highest honorß at the Royal Society s *how in England, and the Highland Society 8 Show in cotland. Darling won as a yearling—first prizes at Ayr, Glasgow, Hamilton, and Bigh'an J Society s at Aberdeen. Asa twoyenr-old .yon first prizo at Dumfries; as a three-year-old fh-rt prize at Ayr, Glasgow, Hamilon, and Highland Society s at Perth; as a fouryear-old, firßt prize at Hamilton and Glasgow; Cup at Newcastle hs a five-year-old, first prize at Glasgow ; second prize at Stirling; Highland Society 8 Cup at Newcastle, and 50 guineas for the best mare in the yard. Aa a six-year-old, first prize at Glasgow and Stirling. Her sire Prince Albert was a toted Stall'on. Her dam Old Darlirg by Samson won as a three-year-old flret prize at the Highland MncLty si-how at Stirling. As a four-year-old. flret priza it the Highland Society 8 Show at Inverness; and first prize at Ayr. She was also the dam of Prince of Wales, Prince Arthur nnd of two other colts, sold a3 yearlings at 200 guineas each. Robin Adair will serve a limited number of mares this season, and will stand at Puketapu, whore good paddocks are provided. One month s grass free, afterwards 3s per week. Duo notice will be given on mares being stinted, and every care taken, but no responsibility.
