B Fi-her, Jag, Robin Adair was got by Rantin Robin (imported), foiled 1566 (Champion horse of fcotlano), out of Darlinjr (imported), foaled 1808 (Champion mare of Scotland) Kantin Kobin won as a one and two-year-Old irany fiist prizes. As a three-year-old the Selkirkshire Agricultural Society's premium of L4O, ana the third prize at the Highland Society's Show at Edinburgh. A 8 a four year-old won the Midlothian Agricultural Association's premium of LSO, and the Highland Society's guld medal at Perth. Hia sire Bergamic won the Highland Society's first prize at Kolbo in 1863. and numerous other first prizes. Bergatnie's dam Mairgie won three first prizes at Campbelltown, and her sire Farmer's Fancy won the Highland Society s first prize at Glasgow in 1815. Hi! rlam Peggy won many prizes, and wasyot by Clyde Boy, firac prize Stallion at Huddintrton Show, 1858, also second priz-> at Highland Society s Show, 1858. Clyde Boy was the sire of the Ch-nn-pion horae Sir Walter Scott, who gained the highest honors at the Royal Society s bhow in England, and the Highland Society s Show in cotland. Darling won as a yearling—first prizes at Ayr, Glasgow, Bamilton, and High'aui Society s at Aberdeen, Asatwoyear-old #on Bret priza at Dumfries; as a three-yenrold fin=t prize at >.yr, Glasgow, Hamilton, and Highland Societys at I'eith; as a four-year-old, first prize at Hani'lton and Glustow ; Cup at Newcastle as a five-year-old, first prize at Glasgow ; second prize at Stirling; Highland Society s Cup at Newcastle, and 50 guineas for the best mare in the yard. As a eix-year-oU, first prize at Glasgow and Stirling. Her sire Prince Albert was n noted Stallion. Her dam Old Darlicg by Samson won as a three-year-old firet prize at the Highland SocLty s s-howat Stirling. As a four-year-old, first prize at the Highland Society s Show at Inverness; and first prize at Ayr. She was also the dam of Prince of Wales, Prince Arthur nnd of two other colts, sold as yearlings at 200 guineas each, Kobin Adair will serve a limited number of mares this season, and will »tand at Puketapu, where good paddocks are provided. One month s grass free, afterwu-ds 3s per week. Due notice will be given on mares being stinted, and every caro taken, but no responsibility.
