A 8 a four year-old won the Midlothian Agricultural Association's premium of LSO, and the Highland Society's guld medal at Perth. Hia sire Bergamic won the Highland Society's first prize at Kolbo in 1863. and numerous other first prizes. Bergatnie's dam Mairgie won three first prizes at Campbelltown, and her sire Farmer's Fancy won the Highland Society s first prize at Glasgow in 1815. As a eix-year-oU, first prize at Glasgow and Stirling. Her sire Prince Albert was n noted Stallion. Her dam Old Darlicg by Samson won as a three-year-old firet prize at the Highland SocLty s s-howat Stirling. As a four-year-old, first prize at the Highland Society s Show at Inverness; and first prize at Ayr. She was also the dam of Prince of Wales, Prince Arthur nnd of two other colts, sold as yearlings at 200 guineas each, Kobin Adair will serve a limited number of mares this season, and will »tand at Puketapu, where good paddocks are provided.
