HACK HURDLE RACE—Of 10 soys ; 1 mile, over 4 flights of hurdles 3ft. Cm. high ; no horse to carry less than 9 stone ; post entrance of 1 soy. 3rd MAIDEN PLATE—Of 25 soys ;1J miles ; weight for age; entrance, 2 soys. The winner of any race of the value of 25 soys, after tbe date of entry to carry 71b extra. 4th, PUBLICAN'S PURSE—A handicap of 100sovs, 2 miles ; the second horse to receive 20 sovg, and the third 5 soys from the stake; nominations, 2 soys ; acceptance, 3 soys. sth. Three horses to start for each race or no public money will be given. All protests must be accompanied by a depoelt of £2, which will be forfeited to the fund if the protest be considered frivolous 5 per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Handicap to carry 71b penalty; nomination, 2 soys; acceptance, 2 boys. HACK RACE, of 10 aovs; distance, 1 mile ; catch weights ; post entrance. 1 soy. CONSOLATION RACE, of 10 sove.; 1 mile ; for all beaten horses, hacks excepted; post entrance 1 soy. RULES. No person allowed to enter a horse unless he is a Subscriber of at least one guinea to the Club. All disputes, claims, or objections to be decided by a majority of the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, whose decision shall be final. All protests to bo accompanied with a deposit of two guineas, to be forfeited if the protest is considered fiivolcuß. Three horses to start for each race or only half the money will ba given. " Hack' shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight for age or handicap race. Nominations for the Maiden Plate (with ages of horses) Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied with the necessary amount in cash, must be left with thj Secretary at Kaikora not later than 8 p m. on the 9th December. Weights will appear on the 15th December; Acceptances for the Handicap Hurdle Race, W.O. R,C Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied with tbe necessary amount in cosh, and colors of riders, must be left with the Secretarj', not later than 8 pm, on the 23rd December. Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. All races run tinder the H.B. Jockey Club Rules and weights.
