The drama, " The Willow Copse," will be repeated at the Theatre Koyal to-night, To-morrow will be observed as a close holiday in town. At the Agricultural and Pastoral Society's show to-morrow at Hastings the horse parade will take place in front of the grand stand at 2 p.m., the trotting match at 3 p.m., and the jumping match immediately afterwards. Entries for the two latter can be made with the secretary on the ground. Owing to the public holiday to-morrow the usual weekly meeting of the Napier Young Men's Mutual Improvement Society will not be held. The regular monthly meeting of the Scinde Lodge of Freemasons will take place in the Masonic Hall, Tennyson street, at 7.30 o'clock to-morrow evening. By special request the Zulu War exhibition, &c, will be shown at the Town Hail, Hastings, to-morrow evening for positively the last time. Messrs Monteith and Co., will hold an important sale of well-bred cattle and horses at Beecroft's yards, Hastings, on Friday at 10.30 a.m., and at 12.30 p.m. the same firm holds its annual sale of stock, implements, &c.,on the show grounds. Messrs M. E. Miller and Potts' annual sale of sheep, cattle, &c, will tuke place on

the Agricultural and Pastoral Society's grounds, Hastings, on Friday at 12.30 p.m. Mr Lyndon sells a consignment of china, earthenware, and holloware, by auction, at his mart at 11 a.m. on Friday. Tenders for the erection of a store, batehouse, and ovens close with Mr Heron at noon on Friday. Messrs Monteith and Co.'s produce and stock sales take place at the Horse Bazaar, as usual, on Saturday. The finder of a gold locket, bearing a Freemason's emblem, which has been lost, will be rewarded on bringing same to office of this paper. Woods' eucalyptis balsam is an efficacious remedy for coughs, colds, asthma, and bronchial affections of all kinds. The steamer Oreti leaves for the Thames and Auckland at 3 p.m. on Friday.
