MEiiBOTTBNE, September 26. Messrs C. S. Ross and Co. report sales of Kauri timber, ex Laird and Catherine Jane, at the folio-wing average price : —Per 100 feet super, hewn logs, 16s 3d ; sawn flitches, 18s 6d ; sawn boards, H to 3-inch, 21s 6d. A fair demand was experienced.
