The Royal Australian circus performs at Waipawa to-night. A special train runs from Waipukurau to-night conveying those wishing to attend, returning after the performance. The anniversary soiree in connection with Trinity Wesleyan Church Sunday school will be held in the school-room, Clive-Square, this evening at 6.30, after which a public meeting takes place in the church. A meeting of the creditors of J. B. Yernon will be held at the Court House, Napier, at 2 p.m. to-morrow, to enable the debtor to apply for a certificate of discharge. A Scandinavian concert in aid of the new Children's Ward at the Hospital will be given in St. John's school-room to-morrow evening. The Bishop of Waiapu will preside. A football match, Sydney t. Hawke's Bay, will be played at Farndon on Saturday, and a speciul train in connection therewith will leave the Napier station at 2 p.m. Mr Evan, auctioneer, will receive entries from persons wishing to dispose of stock, implements, &c, at the forthcoming agricultural show. Further subscriptions received in aid of the Martin relief fund are announced. Mr T. R. Cooper, architeot, invites tenders for the erection of a live-roomed residence on the hills neo.r the hospital. Messrs Banner and Liddle will sell 70 pairs men's, women's, and children's boots at their auction sale on 'Thursday.
