September 16. Her Majesty the Queen has sent a telegram to the Khedive congratulating His Highness on tbe success of the operations of the British troops in Egypt. At the wool sale to-day tbe catalogue comprised 78,000 bales. A fair demand was experienced. September 17. Obituary.—Dr E. B. Pasey, aged 82.
