AUSTEALIANS V. SCARBOROUGH.

London, September 7.

The Australian cricketers commenced a match to-day at Scarborough against an eleven of the J. Zingari Club. The weather was very fine, and a capital wicket was pitched. The Australians went in first, and scored 153 runs. Massie bowled 51, Horan caught 32, and Bonnor caught 17, were the highest scorers. The home team then went in, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had scored 50 runs for the loss of one wicket.

September 8. The cricket match at Scarborough between the Australian team and an eleven of J. Zingari was continued today. The home team, with one wicket down, resumed its first innings, which closed for a total of 279 runs. The Australians then commenced their second innings, and at the conclusion of the day's play had scored 30 for the loss of one wicket.
