Mr William Walters, the racehorse owner, died yesternight, aged 54 years. He was an old colonist of forty years standing. An empty ten-roomed house in windmill road was destroyed by fire last night. It was insured for £300, but the office is unknown. The origin of the fire is unknown. Mr 0. B. Stone has been elected a director of the Mutual Insurance Company.
