May and Owens, Messrs Gunnell, Elint, and Baxter, and 7 natives. DEPARTURES. December. 21—Sir Donald, s.s., for Waihua and Moeangiangi. «. The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, arrived from Wairoa at 6 o'clock last night, with a cargo of 56 dumps of wool, which »he transhipped to the Wave Queen this morning. She is to leave for Mohaka tonight. The s.s. Sir Donald, Captain Quinlan, steamed for Waihua and Moeangiangi at 11 o'clock laßt night for a load of wool. 1 he steam pipes for the p.s. Manaia arrived by the Oreti this morning, and it is expected she will be ready for sea tomorrow. The steamer Oreti, Capt. Alexander Campbell, arrived here from Wellington at an early hour this morning, and reports having left that place at 9.30 p.m. on Tuesday. She brought a large cargo for here, including a quantity of transhipments out of the ship Orari, which was discharged at the cattle wharf during the morning. She will take in a number of sheep this afternoon, and will steam for Gisborne and Auckland at 6 o'clock to-night. The Union Company's s.s. Boojum, Capt. Maloney, returned from Wairoa shortly before noon to-doy, with several passengers. The s.s. Kiwi had not turned up from the Sou'h up to the time our report left the Spit, although she is telegraphed as having left Castle Point at 6.30 p.m. yesterday. She is announced to sail for Wellington at 6 o'clock to-morrow night. The Union Company's s.s. Botomahana, Capt. Underwood, is to leave Auckland this afternoon, and will thus be up to her timetable dutc, viz., Saturday morning, sailing South at the usual time. Messrs Shaw, Saville and Co.'s barque Wave Queen want 3 but about 500 more bales to complete her loading, and will probably get away for London next week. (by cable.) Melbourne, Deosmber 21. Arrived, this morning, Union Company's steamship Te Anau from the Bluff. (BY TEI.EGEAPH.) Oamaru, December 22. Cleared, barque Veteran, with wheat, for Queenstown.
