Rac'ng Club, Masonic Hotel, Napier, to contain specified sum, name of owner and colours of Nominations for Handicap Hurdles, and Pakowhai Handicap to be sent in by 9 p m. on Tuesday, 6th December, accompanied by a fee of 1 soy foi each nomination. Weights to appear on or before 9 p.m. on Wednesday 14th December. Acceptance without fee by 9 P m on Tuesday, 20th December. Nomination f for Maiden Christmas Stakes. Trotting Race, and Novel Race, by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, 2 th December, with fee of 1 soy for each nomination. Weight for Christmas Stakes to apneas on the course after the Pakowhai Handicapis decided. Half forfeits (of 1 soy) to be declared and paid by 12 noon on tbe day of the race for the following events or the nominator will beliab'e for the whoe sweepstakes, viz. : Maiden Plate, Pakowhai Handicap, and Handcar. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. . . All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 2 soys, which sum shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. All nominations, entries, acceptances, &c, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed to the Secretary, and left at Beecrofts Hotel, Hastings, not later than 10 p.m. on the several specified dates. The rules and weights ol the Hawke 8 Bay Jockey Club as in force at the date of the meeting, will be strictly adhered to. .
