PORT AHURIRI. ARRIVALS. December. 21—Sir Donald, s.s., from Whangaehu and Blackhead. DEPARTURES. December. 20 —Maori, s.s., for Wairoa, with one passenger. 21—Boojum, s.s., for Wairoa. Passengers —Mrs Smith and son, Messrs R. C. Paisley, and two others, and several Maori children. . -♦ The s.s., Sir Donald, Capt. Quinlan, returned from Blackhead and Whangaehu this morning, with 72 hales of wool from the former, and 40 hales from tho latter place, which she transferred on arrival to the Wave Queen. She is to leave to-night for Waihua and Moeangiangi. The s.s., Maori steamed for Wairoa at 10 o'clock last night, with a good cargo. The Union Company's s.s. Boojum, Capt. Maloney, left for the Wairoa shortly after noon to-day, with a number of passengers, and some cargo. The steamer Kiwi, Captain Campbell, left Wellington at 5 o'clock last night, and is expected here to-morrow morning, and will sail for the same place during the afternoon. The s.s. Eairy is discharging coal transhipped ex the Silver Cloud at the cattle wharf to-day. Tho steamer Oreti is due here from Wellington to-morrow morning early. Steam was got up in the s.s. Manaia's boiler on Monday evening to test the various joints and connections which have been made, and they were found to be perfect. Feveral turns were also token out of the engines, which worked smoothly. With the exception of three pipes, which are coming forward by the Kiwi to-morrow, she is now ready for sea. ("BY CABLE.) Melbourne, December 20. Sailed, yesterday afternoon, Union Company's steamship Ringarooma for the Bluff.
