December 21. The Collector of Customs at Waugarmi prostciifed herein three cases under the Beer Duty Act yesterdry. Willi-m Junes Hibbons, btewer, was fined £20 and costs for using a stamp, the Mngistrate holding that the penalty imposed was a fixed one. but recommended a rebate. Francis Mullen and James O'Sullivan, publicans, were each fined 20a and costa for using wrong stamps.
