Racing Club, Mssonie Hotel, Napier, to contain specified sum, name of owner and colours of Nominations for Handicap Hurdles, and Pakowhai Handicap to be sent in by 9 p m. on Tuesday, 6th December, accompanied by a fee of 1 soy for each nomination. Weights to appear on or before 9 p.m. on Wednesday 14th December. Acceptance without fee by 9 p.m on Tuesday, 20th December. Nomination ffor Maiden Plato, Christmas Stakes, Trotting Race, and Novel Race, by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, 20th December, with fee of 1 soy for each nomination. Weight for Christmas Stakes to appear on the course after the Pakowhai Handicap is decided. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and object'ous arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. ~..,. , ... All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 2 soys, which sum shall bo forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. All nominations, entries, acceptances, &c., accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must bo addressed to the Secretary, and left atßeecrofts Hotel, Hastings, not later than 10 p.m. on the several specified dates. The rules and weights ol the tlawke s Bay Jockey Club as in force at the date of the meeting, will be strictly adhered to. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of " Hack " shall mean a horso that has never started in a weight for age or handicap race.
