No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all c'aims, disputes, and ohject'ons arising (-hall be decided by tbe Stewards, or whom ihey may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be fmrtl. All protests mußt bo acconi"anied with a deposit of 2 soy?, which sum shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest ie not eu&tnined. All nominations, entries, acceptances, &c, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed to tho Secretary, and left at Beecrofr.'s Hotel, Hastings, not later than 10 p.m. on the several specified dates. The rules and weights ol the Hawke s Hay Jockey Club as in force at the dato of the meeting, will bo strictly adhered to. Horssg walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes.
