Fisher, Esq, Robin Adair was got by Rantin Robin (imported), foaled 1860 (Champion horse of Scotland), out of Darlincr (imported), foaled 1868 (Champion mare of Scotland) Rantin Robin won as a one and two-year-old many first prizes. As a three-year-old the Selkirkshire Agricultural Society's premium of £40, and the third prize at the Highland Society's Show at Edinburgh As a four-year-old won the Midlothian Agricultural Association's premium of £50, and the Highland Society's gold medal at Perth, Hia sire Bergamie won the Highland Society's first prize at Kelso in 1863, and numerous other first prizes. Bergamie's dam Maggie won three first prizes at Campbelltown, and her sire Farmer's Fancy won the Highland Society's first prize at Glasgow in 1845. His dam Pegey won many prizes, and waa got by Clyde Boy, first prize Stallion at Haddinsrton Show, 1858, also second prize at Highland Society's Show, 1858. Clyde Boy was the sire of the Champion horse Sir Walter Scott, who gained the highest honors at the R.yal Society's Show in England, and the Highland Society's Show in Scotland. Darling won bs a yearling—first prizes at Ayr, Glasgow, Hamilton, and Highland Society's at Aberdeen. As a two-year-old won first prize at Dumfries ; as a three-year old first prize at Ayr, Glasgow, Bamilton, and Highland Seciety's at Perth; as a four-year-old, Ist prize at Hamilton and Glasgow; Cup at Newcastle; as a fiveyear-old, Ist prize at Glarjrow ; 3nd prize at Stirling ; Highland Society's Cup at Newcastle, and 50 guineas for the best mare in the yard. As a Eix-year-old, Ist prize at Glasgow and Stirling. Her sire Prince Albert was a noted Stallion. Her dam Old Darlintr by Samson won as a three-year-old Ist prize at the Highland Society's Show at Stirling. As a four-year-old, Ist prize at the Highland Society's Show at Inverness ; and Ist prise at Ayr. She was also the dam of Prince of Wales, Prince Arthur and of two other colts, sold as yearling, at 200 Guineas each. Robin Adair will serve a limited number of mares this season, and will stand at Puketapu, where good paddocks are provided. One months grass free, afterwards 3s per week. Due notice will be givea on mares being stinted, and every care taken, but no responsibility. Terms—Six Guineas per mare (10 % reduction on 3 or more mares from same owner) payable on removal. Young Hadji Baba's dam out of Vision by Phantom, sire of Phantom, the imported horse Old Jersey, his dam the old imported Bay Middleton mare, both the latter imported by the late Alex Rose, Esq. Phantom was a great performer on the turf and was never beaten, he is full brother of the celebrated mare Shadow, a wonderful performer.
