December 2. At the wool sale to-day 8800 bales were offered. Prices were firmly maintained. The body of the late Earl of Crawford and Balcarres was stolen to-day from the mausoleum at Aberdeen. The object of the theft is believed to be to extort ransom from the relatives of the deceased Earl. A Blue Book has been issued containing papers and letters in reference to Afghan affairs. One of the documents is a communication by the Ameer Abdul Rahman to the Viceroy of India, in which he undertook to do nothing without the consent of England, and expresses his intention of informing the Government of everything that may take place in Afghanistan, whether good or bad.
