LONDON.
December 1. A good demand was again experienced at to-day's wool auction. The catalogue comprised 9,100 bales. The total quantity withdrawn from sale since the opening is 3,000 bales. December 2. At a meeting of Aberdeen delegates of the Scotch Land League to-day, representations signed by forty thousand farmers were presented demanding the immediate reform of the land laws. It is reported on the London Stock Exchange that a four million loan for the colony of Victoria will shortly be placed on the market.
