LONDON.
November 30. At the wool sales a good demand continues. To-day the catalogue comprised 8900 bales. The Daily News to-day publishes a telegram from Constantinople stating that, in consequence of the difficulty which has arisen with the Greek Government, the Porte now threatens to order the closing of all European post offices in Constantinople. An official statement is published to the effect that, prior to his execution, Lefroy, the Brighton murderer, withdrew his confession that he had murdered Lieut. Roper at Chatham.
