Hiroki has been committed for trial for the murder of McLean. A further charge of breaking into a house at "Waitotara, and stealing a doublebarrelled silver watch, two coats, and a cheque-book, was adjourned to Wednesday. A fire broke out last evening at Webster Brothers saw-mill in Liardetstreet, which, notwithstanding a strong southerly gale blowing at the time, was got under before the building was destroyed.
