Sendall, one of the assistant secretaries of the English Local Government Board, to the Lieut-Governorship of this colony in succession to Sir Evelyn Wood, is viewed with much disfavor throughout Natal, and the Legislative Council, at its sitting to-day, voted six instead of the usual twelve months supplies as a protest against Mr Sendall's appointment.
