Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Napier, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the ninth day of November, 1831. under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as member for the said electoral district; And that the nomination of Candidates will take place in the old Provincial Council Chamber, Napier, at noon, on the first day of December, 1881; and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken at the polling place of the said district, on the ninth day of December, 1881.
