TIMARU.

November 22. Mr J. H. Sutter was re-electe'l Mayor yesterday without opposition. Shearing is in full swing in this district, and wool is coming into town rapidly. It is expected that the Dunedin steamers will discharge into the railway trucks on the wharf to-day. The laying of the rails on the wharf is not completed, but the line can be used.
