The trial of Guiteau continues, the late President's vetebra was produced in Court to-day, for the purpose of illustrating testimony of a medical witness. Guiteau's demeanor in Court is quite callous. An attempt was made on his life to-day as he was being conveyed back to prison. A mounted man fired at him with a revolver, and wounded Guiteau in the hand ; tbe perpetrator of the outrage with the aid of his horse succeeded in effecting his escape, and ia still at large.
