November. 19—Columbia, schooner, for Auckland

The s.s. Rotoraabana, 1727 tone, Captain "Underwood, arrived in the roadstead, at 2 j a.m. to-day. She left Auckland on the 17th at 10.30 a.m., arriving at Grieborne on the 18th, and sailing again on the same date at 6 p.m. Moderate southerly winds with heavy swell prevailed during the passage. She was tendered by the s.s. Boojum for mails and passengers at 7 o'clock, and by the ketch Three Brothers for her cargo some 35 tons. The passengers were taken off at 10 o'clock, and the steamer left for Southern ports and Melbourne at 1 o'clock. We have to thank Mr Charles Hudson, purser, for report and passenger list. The s.s. Sir Donald, Capt. Quinlan, returned yesterday afternoon from the coast. She met a strong southerly wind just the other side of the Kidnappers, and was unable to get as far as Fairy Bay, so she called in at Waimarama and got 69 bale 3of wool before the sea got too high. The schooner Columbia sailed for Auckland in ballast this morning.

The brigantine Sarah and Mary was towed inside by the s.s. Boojum yesterday afternoon, and she will get a berth at the breastwork this afternoon. The Wairoa steamers Resiilt and Maori s departures for Wairoa have been postponed •until Monday, on account of the ugly appearance of the weather. The s.s. Sir Donald reports that the s.s. Kiwi put back, and was lying under the Kidnappers yesterday afternoon. The s.s. Go-Ahead leaves Lyttelton for Napier and Wellington to-day.

[by cable.] London, November 15.
