CORPORATION OFFICES.

[To the Editor op the Daily Telegraph.] Sib,—l think the question of deciding where the Corporation offices should be built is too important to be decided by Council without any assistance from the public, and I suggest that a poll of the ratepayers be taken for determining the site. As every one knows the seaside is by far the healthiest, especially in summer, and as it ia but a short distance from the centre of the town I do not see that any serious objection can be made against it on that score. It does not appear to me that there is any immediate hurry for such offices, and it would be advisable to proceed with other public works, which are certainly more urgently rfquired, before more of the loan is expended.—l am, &c, A Ratepayer.
