Public Notice. TO THE ELECTORS AND INHABITANTS OF NAPIER AND SURROUNDING DISTRICTS. Ladies and Gentlemen — I take this early opportunity of announcing my return from Markets. Having personally selected a CHOICE STOCK OF NEW SPRING GOODS, together with a large parcel of Men's, Youths', and Boys' Clothing of a superior quality, all of which MUST BE CLEARED OUT AT ONCE, Rogai'dless of Cost. This I'm compelled to do, as I have been advised by this mail of a Large Stock of SPRING- AND SUMMER GOODS, specially selected for me in Glasgow, London and Manufacturing districts, and shipped per the Peninsular and Oriental mail steamer which left London on the 29th July. These Goods I did not expect for two months yet; but as they are coming by Mail Steamer, should arrive here in a week or so. This will make my Stock much larger than it ought to be : consequently I must clear out the New Goods I have just opened up, at extraordinary LO"W PRICES. All my now Prints will be cleared out at Gd, Bd, and lOd, worth from 2d to 4d per yard more. All my new Dress Goods will be cleared out at 6d, Bd, lOd, and Is ; worth 4d to 6d per yard more. All Wool Dress Goods will bo cleared at Is, Is 3d, and Is 6d ; well worth 2s 6d A few Ladies' Costumes very cheap. Large stock of Ladies' and Children's Underclothing, Skirts, and Corsets, the best value ever offered in Napier. Children's Frocks, Pellises, Blouses, Sun Hats, etc., very Cheap.
