The brigantine Linda Weber, George Bell master, arrived in the roadstead yesterday afternoon, and was sailed inside by the pilot at 10 o'clock this morning and berthed at the breastwork. Pbe reports having left Mercury Bay on Friday laf t, and experienced fine weather with varinWe winds. Her cargo consists of pawn and bulk timber consigned to Mr Robert Holt. * The as. Sir Donald returned from Tongoio at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, bringing 96 bales of wool. She took in a quantity of stores during the afternoon, and left for Blackhead at about eight o'clock. The s.s. Fairy lo?fc for Mahia last evening, taking a small cargo, and is to return with Wool. The brigantine Anthons is ballasting for Greymonth to-day, but will probably not sail before to-morrow. The s.s. Bella brought a second load _of dumped wool yesterday from Clive, which she transhipped to the shipHernaoine. The s.s. Kiwi left Wellington for here via the coast at 5 o'clock last night, but it is ■uncertain if she will arrive here by tomorrow morning. Capt. W. B. Baxter, master of thes.s. Result, received a telegram from the Wairoa this morning stating the bar to be in a worse stnte than ever, and unlikely to improve for some days. The cutter Clara is loading up for Mohaka. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata, Capt. Sinclair, left Auckland at 11 o'clock this morning with 20 tons of cargo for here, and is expected to arrive at daylight on Saturday. She is advertised to Bail again at 11 o'clock, and will take our outward 'Frisco mail. The lighter Admiral is discharging the balance of the Cooleen's inward cargo at the breastwork to-day. The Three Brothers discharged her cargo transhipped out of the Wave Queen at the breastwork this morning. (BY TELEGRAPH.") Dxtnedin, November 3.
