A public meeting of miners was held at Dellman's Town last evening, at which a resolution was passed urging on tbe Government the necessity of pushing on without delay the construction of the reservoir, for which a sum of £3000 had been voted, and also widening the water race to the sludge channel, as, until these works are completed, a number of claims would remain idle.
