The two clerks, in the employ of Messrs Kronhemiers and Co., who absconded last month, having embezzled £8000, were captured yesterday by the police, and are now in custody. Telegrams are to hand reporting that the barque Ehrensvard, which went ashore recently at Passoervean, Java, while on a voyage from Melbourne to Batavia, has been safely floated.
