October 28.
The newly elected Chamber of Deputies met to-day for the first time, when M. Gambetta was again elected President, pending the verification of the election returns. October 29. M. Gambetta, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, had an interview to-day with President Grevy. No particulars of the meeting have yet transpired.
