As a three-year-old the .Selkirkshire Agricultural Society's premium of £40, and the third prize at the Highland Society's Show at Edinburgh. As a four-year-old won the Midlothian Agricultural Association's premium of £50, and the Highland Society's gold medal at Perth, His sire Bergamie won the Highland Society's first prize at Kelso in 1863, and numerous other first prizes. Bergamie's dam Maggie won three first prizes at Oampbelltown, and her Hire Farmer's Fancy won the Hichland first prize at CMasgow in 1846. His dam Peggy won many prizes, and was got by Clyde Uoy, first prize Stallion at Haddinjrton Show, 1853, also second prize at Highland Society'e Show, 1853. Clyde Boy was the s're of the Champion horse Sir Waiter Scott, who gained the highest honors at the Royal Pociety'B Show in England, and the Highland Society's Show in Scotland. Darling , won as a yearling—first prizes at Ayr, Glasgow, Hamilton, and Highland Society's at Aberdeen. As a two-year-old won first prize at Dumfries ; as a three-year-old first prize at Ayr, Glasgow, Hamilton, and Highland Society's at Perth; as fi four-year-oW, Ist prize at Hamilton and Glasgow; Hup at Newcastle; a five-yerir-old, let prize at. Glargow : 3nd prize Rt Stirling ; Highland Society'B Cup at .Newcastle, and 50 guineas for the beet, morn in the v&H. As a six-year-old, lat prize at Glasgow and Stirling. Her sire Prince Albert was a noted Stallion. Her dam Old Oarlincr by Samson wori as a three-year-old Ist prize atihe Hicrhlai'd Society'e Show at Stirling.
